Description

After so long, here's a MOC post, and using a different "layout". (as in, all pics in 1!)

(Updated to have better backdrop, and hopefully better pic quality)

First and foremost, I know the connection to the tail is utter shite, but it works for now. If I ever figure out a way that I can fill it in and be personally satisfied, I'll just update this.

Okay, onto positives! This 10-12 hour build was inspired by a MOC I saw on this site actually. And like some, I could see some very visible faults, but I really liked it. That, in turn, made me think how I would build such a character, and thus started the building of Reshiram. I did a little something dumb though, which was start with the head. It's not that it's dumb to do that, but as far as scale goes, it could've ended up being much bigger. After finishing most of the head, I built the body.
I knew that using an Inika torso would easly work, seeing as the scale called for it, and Resh has a small shoulder width. But the hip area threw me off at first, and is the current reason I don't have anything filled in between the connection of the tail and body. I decided to use one of the sports figure bodies, and finally found a suitable use for the gen 1 Stormer torso. After adding some more Technic and CCBS shells, I decided to move onto connecting what I'd finished, which was easier than I thought.
Next up was the legs, which were almost double the length, but thankfully shortened. The hip is mainly comprised of the Metru torsos, plus some added covering for a smoother look and feel. And the lower leg is mainly comprised of Mata/Nuva torsos, with the heel being a Mata/Nuva foot. Adding some ball-joints and such, I added the claws. Then came testing to see if the legs would effectively connect. Thankfully, I didn't need to change much other than a few parts positioning on both the thigh and body.
The wings/arms actually had a different design when I first started on them, but immediately changed it when I used the extra-large CCBS torsos. This made adding the CCBS shells much easier, and finding those damn claws was a pain in the ass. After making it so I could attach the wings/arms to the body without flop, I did up a quick jet-tail. If I had the right parts (as in, 2 rim pieces that're the same colour and 2 different sizes), I'd probably be more happy with the tail. And as mentioned, I still am not satisfied with any design I've come up with to fill the gap. You can suggest things if you'd like, but it probably won't be immediately tested/used.
And to those who don't know, that Pridak foot down there is supposed to be the crotch fur. (I'm not kidding, search it if you don't believe me). Trying to make it NOT look like so is difficult, but that's the best I'm able to do at this moment.

"Why Reshiram?"

(I assume you already know I have some sort of liking of Pokemon, so that'll be the question :P )

Reshiram was one of the few legendaries that I found fascinating, but never really took to immediately. I came in on gen 6, so I never had the opportunity to catch most others. I got my first Reshiram via GTS on XY, and first used it for a White Kyurem. My love for Reshiram was founded when I decided to randomly pop in my team to Pokemon Amie. God he's so adorable.
Now, I know I already have a Reshiram, but it's one I got from a random stranger. I would normally take in unwanted legends I get from trades, but I want to catch my own. I currently have White 2, and plan on geting Omega Ruby, which both have Reshiram in them. I have no doubt in my mind that at this moment, it is my favourite Pokemon entirely.
